Service Provision

Charlie Cabs operates as a taxi service within the UK. We provide transportation for passengers as requested through our booking system, either via our website, by calling 01823 353535 or mobile app. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion, including but not limited to situations where a passenger is intoxicated, abusive, or poses a threat to our drivers or other passengers.

Booking and Cancellation

Bookings can be made through our website, mobile app, or by calling our customer service. Cancellation of a booking must be done at before the vehicle is dispatched to scheduled pickup time to avoid a cancellation fee. If you do not show up for your scheduled ride, you may be charged a no-show fee.

Fares and Payment

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and any applicable surcharges. We reserve the right to change fares without prior notice. Payment can be made via cash, credit card, or through our mobile app. All payments must be settled before the end of the journey. In case of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue the outstanding amount through legal channels.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for ensuring they arrive at their pickup location on time. You must comply with all relevant laws and regulations while using our services. Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the ride and may be charged for repairs.

Liability

Charlie Cabs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will advise customers

Pick-Up Time Advisory

Charlie Cabs can provide recommendations for pick-up times for specific situations such as train station drop-offs, appointments, and other scheduled events. These recommendations are based on average travel times and current traffic conditions. While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, Charlie Cabs is not responsible for any missed appointments, trains, or other commitments resulting from unforeseen delays, traffic conditions, or any other circumstances beyond our control. We advise passengers to allow ample time for travel and to account for potential delays when scheduling their pick-up times.
